Day 1 Chengdu   Dinner

Arrive in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel.


Day 2 Chengdu   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

In the morning, we will visit Giant Panda Breeding Centre to see this beautiful and lovely creature. After lunch, we will visit Wu Hou Temple, which was built in the 6th Century to commemorate Zhuge Liang, known for his great wisdom. Surrounded by old cypresses and classical red walls, the temple evokes nostalgia. After that, we will stroll on Jinli Folk Street. Once the commercial heart of the old kingdoms this ancient street has been fully restored in traditional Sichuan style. Picturesque, bustling, and cheerful, you can sample local arts and craft, traditional Chinese goods, food and delicacies, and even a Starbucks, local style.


Day 3 Chengdu - Mt. E’mei   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

In the morning we will drive ahead to Mt. E’mei. It is one of the most famous mountains for Buddhism in China. It has many temples and beautiful scenery. Upon arrival, we will visit Baoguo Monastery, which as built in the 16th century. After that we will take tour sightseeing bus to Ledongping, hike for a while and take cable car to the Golden Summit. We will adore a huge Ten Face Golden Buddha. If the weather is good, we could enjoy sunset. Overnight on the summit.


Day 4 Mt. E’mei - Chengdu   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

If the weather is good, after we will watch sunrise, we will take cable car and do a short hiking to Leidongping, and take tour sightseeing bus back to the foot of the mountain. On the way, drive back to Chengdu, we will pay a visit to Huanglongxi Ancient Town. It has 2100 years of history. Streets maintained in the Qing Dynasty general fishbone-shaped road network in the traditional pattern.


Day 5 Chengdu - Chongqing   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, we will take bullet train to Chongqing. It takes about 2 hours. After lunch, we will visit Three Gorges Museum. The best exhibits are those on the history of the Yangtze and, of course, the Dam. It also houses some excellent stone and terracotta sculptures, art and interesting artifacts, items from the war years, and temporary exhibitions. The museum faces the impressive People's Hall, built to resemble the Temple of Heaven, across a lively square, itself a hub of activity. And then we will have a leisure walk at Ciqikou Folk Street. This lively old area has been partly restored, and remains an authentic and busy community. The old wooden houses and narrow streets furthest from the river are mostly unimproved, closer to the river there are craft and souvenir shops, teahouses and music, and lots of local food and snacks. The locals certainly love their food ?this is a good chance to try some.


Day 6 Yangtze Cruise   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, visit the Ghost City of Fengdu County on the moring. Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held.


Day 7 Yangtze Cruise   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Take a small boat to Shennong Stream in the afternoon. Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. In the evening, various activities and performances are included on the cruise. Performances include costume shows, magic shows. Sichuan Opera and the Magical Mask Changing are sometimes included.


Day 8 Yichang - Shanghai   Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today first visit Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man. It has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities. When the cruise ends, transferred to the airport and take a flight to Shanghai. In the evening we will take Huangpu River cruise along the riverfront Bund and admire the night lights on both sides of the harbor.


Day 9 Shanghai   Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast we will visit Shanghai Museum, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. And then we will stroll along the lovely paths and pavilions of Yu Garden in Shanghai Old City and at the same time experience Shanghai recently gained modernity. The rest time is free at your own leisure to do shopping.


Day 10 Departure   Breakfast

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
