Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, you are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel.


Day 2 Shanghai

Take a city tour to visit the city's major attractions and get a general understanding of this city. First you will visit the Shanghai Museum, one of the best in China, to learn the history of this city. Also you will have the chance to get a bird's view of the whole Pudong new area on top of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. And then you will take a leisure stroll in the fabulous Yu Garden at the Old Quarter and the famous waterfront Bund.


Day 3 Shanghai - Huangshan - Tunxi

In the morning we will have a walk around French concession region. It is a great area to explore, from the old European buildings in shady avenues to the cafes and restaurants and upmarket shopping area of Huaihu Lu. And then you will take flight to Huangshan. Upon arrival, we will drive to Tunxi.


Day 4 Tunxi ?Mt. Huangshan

After breakfast, ascend to the top of the mountain by cable car and enjoy the attractions of Huangshan. You would be enchanted by bizarre contoured pine trees, fantastic rock formations, seas of cloud and budding hot springs. In addition, one will find the diversified fauna, plants, flowers, herbs in Huangshan most fascinating for research purpose also. Overnight at the top the mountain.


Day 5 Mt. Huangshan - Hangzhou

Rise early to catch the glory of the rising sun bathes the nearby peaks and pavilions in a shower of light, if the weather is good enough. Descend the mountain by cable car. And then we will visit Hongcun ancient village over 800 years old leaning against Mt. Huangshan, it is folded in the fog of the Mt Huangshan, which makes it look like a natural landscape painting. The famous film 'Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon" was made here. Surrounded by a picturesque moat with bridges to the village and a half-moon shaped pond in the centre, it is a favourite haunt of artists and students who often stay with local families to paint here. And then we will drive to Hangzhou.


Day 6 Hangzhou

After enjoying your breakfast you will start your tour in Hangzhou with a cruise in the picturesque West Lake. Then pay a visit to Longjin Tea Garden. After lunch, we will visit to Lingyin Temple which is the biggest Buddhism temple in southeast of China.


Day 7 Hangzhou

Wuzhen lies in the far north-east of Zhejiang province, about 90 minutes by road from Shanghai. The name "water town" is especially apt; besides lying on the Grand Canal, the settlement is completely encircled by two rivers - the Dong Shi and a smaller tributary, which meet at a T-junction. Today we will walk around this water town. And then we will take a cruise to enjoy the atmosphere of the traditional cultures and the original ancient features of Wuzhen water town that have been preserved intact, the elegant watery views and the strong local colored traditions and customs.


Day 8 Hangzhou - Guilin

In the morning, you will take flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, we will visit Elephant Trunk Hill. And then we will visit to Reed Flute Cave on the way. It gets the name from the reeds used for making flutes and pipes that grow at its entrance. The cave is regarded as the largest and most impressive cave in Guilin. It is 240 meters long, and the length of the tour is about 550 meters offering a magic land of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors.


Day 9 Guilin - Yangshuo

Today you will take Li River Cruise through the mist-shrouded limestone mountains, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages. Your cruise disembarks at the charming small Yangshuo Town around 2:00 p.m., and you will have you lunch on the cruise. After check in the hotel, we will cycle at countryside. Experience the hustle & bustle of the Yangshou traffic for 10 minutes before you escape onto the country roads, lanes and tracks of the distinctive and beautiful Yangshou countryside. Biking alongside the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China. You will have a family visit on the half way. It is an opportunity to see a real country life and talk to the local famers.


Day 10 Yangshuo - Longsheng
In the morning we will drive to Longsheng to explore in Longji Terrace and visit Red Yao People's village.
Longji Terraces are built into the steep mountain range named "The Dragon's Backbone" about 2 hours from Guilin. The terraces look like ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the mountain. This ingenious construction makes best use of the scarce arable land and water resources in the mountainous area. There are about 66 square kilometers of terraced fields in the district. The Terraces were first built in the Yuan dynasty and completed in the Qing dynasty by the Zhuang people. Zhuang and Yao minority villages dot the area and feature traditional unique architecture where no nails are used in construction. The different minority customs and dressing styles are especially interesting.


Day 11 Longsheng - Guilin - Xi'an

Morning is free at your own leisure till we drive back to Guilin for your flight to Xi'an. After check in the hotel, we will walk around at Muslim Square.


Day 12 Xi'an

In the morning, we will visit incredible 2000 years old Terracotta Warriors. The Warriors are part of the underground tomb of the Emperor Qin. Well over 7000 figures in full battle array are formed for battle in several large pits. And then we will visit the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists.


Day 13 Xi'an - Beijing

After breakfast, we will visit Ancient City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. And then you will take flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will take rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. And you could learn make dumpling, when we pay a visit a Hutong family.


Day 14 Beijing

After breakfast, we will visit the Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. After a hike along a portion of the Wall, we visit the Ming Tombs, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds.


Day 15 Beijing

Day tour starts from Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. And then we will visit the Forbidden City. The Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties governed China over 500 years for this the largest palace in the world. It is the “must see?in Beijing. And then we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.


Day 16 Departure

Your 16 Days China Wonderful Tour is near the end. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
