Day 1__Arrival to Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The rest time is free at your own leisure.


Day 2__Beijing city tour and Great Wall

One day visit include Great Wall tour and half day Beijing city tour.

Great Wall: It’s famous and to be the most choice from the guests of all world. Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000 to 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. 

Summer Palace: The Imperial Garden cover a huge area-some 2.5km from east to west.

Rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong: Experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. And you could learn make dumpling, when we pay a visit a Hutong family.


Day 3__Beijing to Datong

After a half day Beijing city tour, you will go to Datong by train. It takes about 6.5 hours.

The Forbidden City: In scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987. It is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties.

Tian An Men Square: After visit Forbidden city, we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.




Day 4__Datong to Taiyuan to Taiyuan

In the morning visit Datong Yungang Grottoes. Then in afternoon drive to Taiyuan. It takes about 4.5 hours.

Datong Yungang Grottoes: These 5th-century caves, containing 51,000 ancient statures, below away every neighbouring temple, pagoda and courtyard.

Hunyuan Hanging Temple: Built precariously into the side of a cliff, the Buddhist Hanging Monastery is made all the more stunning by the long support stilts that extend downward from its base. The halls have been built along the contours of the cliff face and are connected by rickety catwalks and corridors.


Day 5__Taiyuan to Pingyao

After breakfast, we will drive to Pingyao. On the way you will visit Qiao Family Courtyard and Shuanglin Temple.

Qiao Family Courtyard: Completely devoid of vegetation, this ornately decorated Qing-dynasty merchant’s residence contains six courtyards and more than 300 rooms. The complex is famously where Zhang Yimou’s lush fifth-generation tragedy Raise the Red Lantern was filmed.

Shuanglin Temple: this Buddist temple, rebuilt in 1571, houses a number of rare, intricately carved Song and Yuan painted states. The interiors of the Sakyamuni Hall and flanking buildings are particularly exquisite.




Day 6__Pingyao to Xi'an

Today you will visit Pingyao Ancient Town

Pingyao Ancient Town: Anyone with even the remotest interest in Chinese history, culture or architecture could easily spend a day wandering the cobbled streets of Pingyao, stumbling across hidden gems while ticking off the well-known sights. It's free to walk the streets, but you must pay around 120RMB to climb the city walls or enter any of the 18 buildings deemed historically significant.

Tonight you will take an overnight train to Xi’an.


Day 7__Xi’an City Tour

Upon arrival in Xi’an, you will have breakfast. And then you will World Heritage Terra Cottas Warriors

Xi'an city: Its fabled past is a double-edged sword. Primed with the knowledge that this legendary city was once the terminus of the Silk Road and a melting pot of cultures and religions, as well as home to emperors, courtesans, poets, monks, merchants and warriors; visitors can feel let down by the roaring, modern-day version. But even though Xi'an's glory days ended in the early 10th centtury, many elements of ancient Chang'an, the former Xi'an , are still present.

Terra Cottas Warriors: Famous World Heritage which built in Qin Dynasty-the first Dynasty of China.

Ancient City Wall: represent one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls.


Day 8__Xi’an to Luoyang to Dengfeng

This morning you will take train to Luoyang. Upon arrival, you will visit Longmen Caves. After that we will drive to Dengfeng.

Longmen Caves: a priceless Unesco World Heritage Site, the ravaged grottoes at Longmen consititue one of China’s handful of surviving masterpieces of Buddhist rock carving.




Day 9__Dengfeng to Zhengzhou to Shanghai.

Today you will vist Shaolin Temple and Songyang Academy. After that we will drive to Zhengzhou for your flight to Shanghai. Your guide of Shanghai section will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Shaolin Temple: Famous by the Shaolin Kongfu and Buddhsim culture.

Songyang Academy:one of China's oldest academies, a lush and well-tended academy, dates to AD484 and rises up the hill on a series of terraces.


Day10__Shanghai City Tour

Today you will have one day Shanghai city tour.

Yuyuan Garden: famous classical garden located in Anren Jie. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

Jade Buddha Temple: one of Shanghai few active Buddhist monasteries, this temple was built between 1911 and 1918. The centerpiece is the 1.9m-high pale green Jade Buddha, seated upstairs in his own hall. The beautiful effigy of Sakyamuni, clearly Southeast Asian in style, gazes ethereally from a cabinet.

The Bund: you will walk along and admire both sides of the harbor. The Bund, also called Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu (East Zhongshan 1st Road), is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It is on the west bank of Huangpu River from the Waibaidu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge and winds 1500 meters (0.93 mile) in length. The most famous and attractive sight which is at the west side of the Bund are the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.


Day11__Shanghai Departure

Your Historic Middle China Tour will be near the end. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
