Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. According to your arrival flight, we will suggest the activities for today.
Beijing city tour:
Temple of Heaven: where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. The temple-the Chinese actually means "Altar of Heaven" so don't expect buring incense or worshippers-originally served as a vast stage for solemn rites performed by the Son of Heaven, who prayed here for good harvests, and sought divine clearance and atonement.
Forbidden City: in scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987. It is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties. And then we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.
The Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall: one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes.
Lama Temple: the only Beijing city temple that survived the Cultural Revolution. It is the largest Lama Temple outside Tibet. It was built in 1694 and the architecture and ornamentation of the buildings show the influence of Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan styles.
Day 4__Beijing to Xi’an
After morning tour, In the morning, you will take flight to Xi’an. Your guide of Xi’an section will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. And then you will explore the backstreets of Xi’an’s ancient Muslim Quarter.
Summer Palace: which was built 800 years ago. It is the second largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with 294 hectares including the beautiful and serene Kunming Lake.
Muslim Quarter: is paved with blue flagstones and shaded by trees, along which the archaized stores of the Ming (1368-1644) and the Qing (1644-1911) dynasties are in line, and they’re all operated by the Hui ethnic people. A number of ancient architectural buildings are well-retained on the street, highlighted by Hanguang Gate of the Tang Dynasty (618-907), Xicheng Gate Tower Cluster of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the City God Temple (a Taoist temple) and the Grand Mosque, all of which contrast finely with one another.
Day 5__Xi’an to Guilin
After Xi’an tour, you will take a flight to Guilin.
Terracotta Warriors: it is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively.
Ancient City Wall: it's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
Day 6__Guilin to Yangshuo
This morning you will take Li River Cruise through the mist-shrouded limestone mountains, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages. Your cruise disembarks at the charming small Yangshuo Town around 2:00 p.m., and you will have you lunch on the cruise. After a leisure stroll on the West Street, the rest time is at your own leisure.
Day 7__Yangshuo to Guilin
After breakfast you will cycle to visit Moon Hill and Big Banyan Tree Park. After lunch, we will drive back to Guilin. On the way, we will pay a visit to Reed Flute Caves, where spectacular stalactites and stalagmites and mirror lake dazzle visitors.
Day 8__Departure to Hong Kong or other places
