Day 1 Arrival in Chengdu 

Arrive in Chengdu, which is called "the Land of Abundance" You will meet your guide at airport. And then we will visit Wide and Narrow Folk Alley. It’s used to be home to officials in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and among the city’s cultural heritage sites still intact today.

 

Day 2 Chengdu Tour

Visit The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Centre in the morning, which is one of the important centers in China for the captive conservation of giant pandas. After lunch, we will visit Wuhou Temple. The Marquis of Wu, Zhuge Liang (181-234) was the outstanding military strategist immortalized in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and in the saying wise as "the Marquis of Wu". Peaceful and attractive gardens surround several halls, including one dedicated to his memory and another to that of his emperor Liu Bei, some impressive statues, a small museum, a famous Tang Dynasty stele and the classic red wall leading to Liu Bei's tomb. And then we will stroll on Jinli Folk Street, which is supposed to provide a miniature exposition of the folk customs and modern lifestyle of Chengdu.

 

Day 3 Chengdu - E’mei

After breakfast, we will drive to visit the Giant Buddha in Leshan is located to the east of Leshan City, Sichuan Province and on the Lingyun Mountain where Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River meet. It has been the largest stone carved sitting Buddhist statue in the world so far. And then we will drive ahead to Mt. E’mei and visit Baoguo Monastery. This monastery was built in the 16th century, enlarged in the 17th century, and rebuilt in recent years. Its 3.5-meter porcelain Buddha, made in 1415, is housed near the Sutra Library. To the left of the gate is a rockery for potted miniature trees and rare plants.

 

Day 4 Mt. E’mei - Chengdu
One of China’s four most important Buddhist mountains, it is said that Buddhism was brought to Mt. E’mei in the first century BC. After breakfast, we will visit the golden summit of Mt. E’mei.
The Golden summit is the highlight to any visitor trip to Mt. Emei. Visitors standing on the Golden Summit are truly among the clouds, as clouds can be seen above and below them adding to the splendor of the place. The Golden Buddha located on the Golden Summit is a golden statue of Puxian. It is the highest golden Buddha statue in the world. Cast in copper, and plated in gold, the Golden Buddha is 48 meters in height, and has a Buddhist temple located inside. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Chengdu.

 

Day 5 Chengdu - Jiuzhaigou

In the morning we will fly to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, we will drive ahead to Huanglong, which is famed for its colorful pools, snow-capped mountains, deep forests, waterfalls and colorful cultures. In addition, the area is also home to many endangered animals, including the giant panda and the Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey. Huanglong National Park was denominated a special scenic spot of China in 1982 and entered "The Natural Legacy Lists of the World" in 1992. In the afternoon we will drive ahead to Jiuzhaigou.

 

Day 6 Jiuzhaigou
Today, we will spend a whole day tour on exploring Jiuzhaigou Valley. It becomes a well known scenic area and a natural reserve for wild animals and plants in China. Jiuzhaigou Valley contains the largest variety of sites and is typically visited first, such as Five-Coloured Lake, Sparking Lake, The Changhai Lake, Swan Lake, Panda Lake, Nuorilang Waterfall, etc.

 

Day 7 Departure

Transfer to airport for your next stop.
