Day 1 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. After a short break in the hotel, you will take rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals.
Day 2 Beijing
Day tour starts from Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. And then we will visit the Forbidden City, in scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987.Built between 1406-1420, it is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties. And then we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.
Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, we will visit the Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. After a hike along a portion of the Wall, we visit the Ming Tombs, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds.
Day 4 Beijing
In the morning, we visit the Summer Palace which was built 800 years ago. It is the second largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with 294 hectares including the beautiful and serene Kunming Lake. After lunch, we will visit 798 Factory, which is a new rising, avant-garde and trendy space that hosts high-level cultural, artistic and commercial activities. In the evening, you will take overnight train to Xi’an.
Day 5 Xi’an
A full day tour brings you to visit Terracotta Warriors. It is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively. Return to Xian and continue your tour with a visit to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. The museum's permanent exhibition primarily displays Shaanxi's ancient history. The collection from the Han through the Tang (618 A.D.-907 A.D.) and Song (960 A.D.-1279 A.D.) dynasties shows the changes of art and craftsmanship.
Day 6 Xi’an
After breakfast we will visit the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. Then visit Ancient City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. And then we will walk around at Muslim Square.
Day 7 Xi’an - Lhasa
Today you will fly to Lhasa. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. The rest time is free at your own leisure to be acclimated.
Day 8 Lhasa
As winter palace of Dalai Lama, the Potala Palace worked as a political and religious centre in Tibet. In the afternoon we will explore Grand Sera Monastery. If you are lucky enough, you can watch interesting Buddhism scripture debating by the monks. And we will also be guest in a local Tibetan family in the late afternoon.
Day 9 Lhasa
The wonders of Tibet continue to unfold today. We begin with the holiest temple in Tibet, the 1,300 year old Jokhang Temple. Then we will have a leisure walk in famous Barkhor Street. Drive outside the city to Drepung Monastery, which was the largest monastery in the world with 10,000 resident monks in its peak.
Day 10 Lhasa - Shigatse
After breakfast we will drive to Shigatse. On the way we will be rewarded by the overview of beautiful Yamdok Lake immediately. After enjoyed the grassland and yaks en route, we will arrive in Gyantse at noon, then we will visit the extremely beautiful Palgor Chorten. In the late afternoon drive to Shigatse.
Day 11 Shigatse - Lhasa
As the base of Panchen Lama, Shygatse placed as the business and political centre of back Tibet. The Tashilunpo Monastery will show us again about the wealth and power of Tibetan Buddhism. We will drive back Lhasa along wide Yalongzangbu river in the afternoon via the new road. Then you will be free to explore the city.
Day 12 Lhasa - Chengdu
Fly to Chengdu. Upon arrival, you will visit Jinli Street. Surely we will have Hotpot for dinner at the hometown of hotpot.
Day 13 Chengdu - Huanglong - Jiuzhaigou
You will fly to Huanglong Airport. Upon arrival, we will drive to Huanglong, which is famed for its colorful pools, snow-capped mountains, deep forests, waterfalls and colorful cultures. In addition, the area is also home to many endangered animals, including the giant panda and the Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey. Huanglong National Park was denominated a special scenic spot of China in 1982 and entered "The Natural Legacy Lists of the World" in 1992. In the afternoon we will drive ahead to Jiuzhaigou.
Day 14 Jiuzhaigou
Today, we will spend a whole day tour on exploring Jiuzhaigou Valley. It becomes a well known scenic area and a natural reserve for wild animals and plants in China. Jiuzhaigou Valley contains the largest variety of sites and is typically visited first, such as Five-Coloured Lake, Sparking Lake, The Changhai Lake, Swan Lake, Panda Lake, Nuorilang Waterfall, etc.
Day 15 Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu
We will fly back to Chengdu. We will visit Wide and Narrow Alley.
Day 16 Chengdu - Shanghai
In the morning we will all gather in the lobby of the hotel and drive about 10 km to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Centre. The Giant Panda Breeding Centre is an excellent recreational area and a highlight of any visit to Chengdu. In the afternoon we will drive about 160km to Leshan to take a cruise to adore the Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest sculpture of Buddha in the world, standing 71 meters tall. And then you will take flight to Shanghai.
Day 17 Shanghai
Shanghai visit starts with a tour of the premier attractions of the city where we can immerse ourselves in the culture and sophistication of this cosmopolitan. You can stroll along the lovely paths and pavilions of Yu Garden in Shanghai Old City and at the same time experience Shanghai recently gained modernity. In the evening we will take Huangpu River cruise along the riverfront Bund and admire the night lights on both sides of the harbor.
Day 18 Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai
In the morning drive to Suzhou and appreciate the elegant classical Suzhou garden with a tour to the Master of Nets Garden to understand the art of Chinese aesthetics through every rock, waterway, plant and flower. And then we will visit Tongli Watertown. This is a town on the river whose streets are supplemented by rivers, upon which numerous boats float back and forth. Its 20 ancient bridges of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties join the town into an integrated whole. After that, we will drive back to Shanghai.
Day 19 Departure
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
