Day 1 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. After a short break in the hotel, you will take rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals.
Day 2 Beijing
Day tour starts from Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. And then we will visit the Forbidden City, in scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987.Built between 1406-1420, it is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties. And then we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.
Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, we will visit the Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes.
After a hike along a portion of the Wall, we visit the Ming Tombs, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds.
Day 4 Beijing
In the morning, we visit the Summer Palace which was built 800 years ago. It is the second largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with 294 hectares including the beautiful and serene Kunming Lake. After lunch, we will visit 798 Factory, which is a new rising, avant-garde and trendy space that hosts high-level cultural, artistic and commercial activities. In the evening, you will take overnight train to Xi’an.
Day 5 Xi’an
A full day tour brings you to visit Terracotta Warriors. It is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively. Return to Xian and continue your tour with a visit to Ancient City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. After that we will walk around at Muslim Square.
Day 6 Xi’an - Luoyang
After breakfast we will visit the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. In the early afternoon, you will take train to Luoyang. It takes about 5 hours. Upon arrival, you will transfer to your hotel.
Day 7 Luoyang - Zhengzhou - Shiyan
In the morning we will visit Shaolin Temple, the birthplace of Chan Buddhism-cradle of Shaolin Kongfu.
And then we will visit the most famous scenic spot in Luoyang, Longmen Grottoes. Firstly sculptured in the fifth century, Longmen Grottoes has more than 2,300 caves and niches, 10,000 Buddhas, 2,800 inscriptions, and 80 pagodas, carved into the face of the cliffs alongside the Yi River. It was listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 2000. In the late afternoon, you will make a beeline for Zhengzhou to take the night soft sleeper train to Shiyan city, which takes about 8 hours.
Day 8 Shiyan
Arrive in Shiyan in the early morning; we will drive to the Wudang Mountain directly. Covering an area of 321 square kilometers, Wudang Mountain is renowned for its magnificent ancient building complex and breathtaking natural landscape.
In 1994, the Ancient Building Complex in the Wudang Mountain was listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Mount Wudang gets its name for its rich Taoism culture. Wudang Kung Fu, founded by Master Zhang Sanfeng, gets an equal status as Shaolin Kung Fu in China.
Day 9 Shiyan - Wuhan
In the morning we will continue visiting the rest part of Mt. Wudang. After lunch, we will drive to Wuhan.
Day 10 Wuhan - Shanghai
In the morning we will visit Yellow Crane Tower, which is the symbol of Wuhan city. First built in 223 A.D, Yellow Crane Tower is one of the four most famous towers in China. Ascending to the top of the tower, visitors will get a panoramic view of the Yangtze River, its bridge and the surrounding buildings. And then we will take flight to Shanghai, which is known as the "Paris of the East". Upon arrival, you are greeted and warmly welcomed by our guide and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city.
Day 11 Shanghai
Shanghai visit starts with a tour of the premier attractions of the city where we can immerse ourselves in the culture and sophistication of this cosmopolitan. You can stroll along the lovely paths and pavilions of Yu Garden in Shanghai Old City and at the same time experience Shanghai recently gained modernity. In the evening we will take Huangpu River cruise along the riverfront Bund and admire the night lights on both sides of the harbor.
Day 12 Shanghai - Suzhou - Shanghai
In the morning drive to Suzhou and appreciate the elegant classical Suzhou garden with a tour to the Master of Nets Garden to understand the art of Chinese aesthetics through every rock, waterway, plant and flower. And then we will visit Tongli Watertown. This is a town on the river whose streets are supplemented by rivers, upon which numerous boats float back and forth. Its 20 ancient bridges of the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties join the town into an integrated whole. After that, we will drive back to Shanghai.
Day 13 Departure
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
