Day 1 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. After a short break in the hotel, you will take rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. You will learn how to make dumplings in local people’s family
Day 2 Beijing
Day tour starts from Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. As for the lunch, enjoy wheaten food of Beijing cuisine at Jing Mian Da Wang Restaurant. Jing Mian Da Wang specializes in its traditional decoration of old city with archaistic red lanterns & bridal sedan chair; it mainly caters wheaten food to diners from local and different regions, creating a cozy atmosphere of festival and household.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Forbidden City.It is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties. And then we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world. Enjoy the dinner at Bai Restaurant, It’s famous for imperial court cuisine and the unique Baifu dishes.
Day 3 Beijing
After breakfast, we will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. And then, we will enjoy the delicious lunch at the Xing Shuang Quan restaurant. Its specialties include the Huairou specialty rainbow trout, sturgeon, salmon and other many other varieties. We will continue to visit 798 Art District this afternoon. In the evening, enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing.
Day 4 Beijing ��?Xi’an
In the morning, we visit the Summer Palace which was built 800 years ago. It is the second largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with 294 hectares including the beautiful and serene Kunming Lake. After lunch, we will take flight to Xi’an. You will enjoy it at Minjianwagang Restaurant, which is famous for its Title-Crock Soup. The Title-Crock Soup is made up spring water and fresh material, simmering in traditional method, has become one of the specialties in Shaanxi cuisine.
Day 5 Xi’an
In the morning, we will visit Terracotta Warriors and enjoy Dumpling Banquet as for lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will continue our tour to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Muslim Quarters of Xi’an. The 500 meters long avenue paved by bluestones are dotted with many unique stall, souvenir shop, café and bars which are mostly run by Muslim people. You could found a lot of local snacks here. As for the dinner, you will enjoy the Hot pot of Xi’an cuisine at Tangyuegong. In the Evening enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show at Tang Yuegong.
Day 6 Xi’an - Chengdu
In the morning we will visit the Ancient City wall. The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defenses still around. You can walk or rent a bike around the full 14km circuit, with great views of the city on either side. Later, you will enjoy the lunch at Qianzhou Reataurant. Qianzhou Restaurant is well-known for its local flavors and ingredients originate from Qian County, its refreshment which is so-called Qianzhou Four Treasures was considered to be famous food nationwide. The specialties are of ancient origin with Tang Dynasty and local culture, leaving good memory to customers.
After that, we will take flight to Chengdu. We will roam on Chunxi Road like as Chengdu people. You could find more than 700 shops at here including large shopping malls, department stores, boutiques, street stalls, as well as modern cafes, and a public square. This dinner we definitely will enjoy the Chengdu snacks at Longchaoshou. It is a time-honored snack bar with different kinds of snack. Ordering a package of snack it gives you a chance of tasting all the delicious food in Chengdu.
Day 7 Chengdu
Today you will firstly visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base where you will see very cute pandas and get to know more about this precious species in its museum.
After lunch at East Tapestry restaurant, you will continue your cuisine tour to visit Jinli Street and Chunxi Street. You can sample local arts and craft, traditional Chinese goods, local food and delicious snacks in the streets. In the evening, you will enjoy your dinner at Morals Village, which is famous for its delicious hotpot, especially for its fungus soup. Another kind of specialty is its crisp baber tripe.
Day 8 Chengdu - Shanghai
After breakfast, you will fly to Shanghai. Your thrilling day in Shanghai will be started to visit super tall skyscraper - Shanghai World Financial Center. You will enjoy lunch at Xin Lv Bo Lang Restaurant; it is featured for its 4 distinguished food series of Shanghai-style food, Shanghai-style snacks, shark’s fin dishes and crab feast. The restaurant has hosted heads of state from more than 40 foreign countries such as President Clinton. In the afternoon, we will visit Yu Garden and the bustling Yuyuan Market.
Yuyuan Market is Located at a very busy marketplace in a complex of traditional-style buildings, backing onto Yuyuan Gardens. You can find everything there from popular local snacks and food, crafts, antiques and souvenirs to Starbucks, tea-houses and some great restaurants. As for a dinner, you will enjoy typical Shanghai style dishes at Xi’s Garden.
Day 9 Shanghai
Be a Shanghainese will give you a chance to experience the real life of Shanghainese and to know how they think and what they do. We will visit Caoyang New Village, the first new-birth Village for workers since the national liberation in 1952. After that you will visit a local market. You will enjoy your lunch at Home’s restaurant. Home's specializes in home-style dishes, of which bouillon, smoked fish and red jujube with sticky rice are well-known in locals, have enjoyed a great reputation from different regions. The rest of time you could explore the city by yourself, such as the Bund, Nanjing road and French concession region.
Day 10 Shanghai - Guilin
Today you will fly to Guilin. Upon arrival, we will visit natural sceneries Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. And then, we will enjoy the dinner at Taste Made Restaurant. It is a savant-courier of creating a new concept of cuisine in Guilin. Located at riverside, it is demonstrated in modern style, preparing the meals that are as pleasing the palate as the eye. It customizes for customers' taste by uniting Chinese and Western cookery, which will leave you a fantastic memory of dining.
Day 11 Guilin - Yangshou
Today we will take Li River Cruise. As you take in the stunning scenery there's something interesting to see at almost every bend in the river. Between spectacular limestone peaks you'll see graceful bamboo groves, farmers tending rice paddies, and lumbering water buffaloes pulling carts or cooling off in the river.
In the afternoon, you’ll have a special experience to learn Chinese cooking. The class begins at the local market where ingredients for dishes chosen by the students. During the class, you will learn three popular dishes on your own set of cooking equipment provided by us. And after the class you can enjoy your culinary creations.
Day 12 Guilin - Hong Kong
Today is a leisure day. Biking in beautiful Yangshuo will give you a chance to escape onto the country road, lanes and tracks of the distinctive and beautiful Yangshou countryside. Biking through the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China. Centuries old farming methods sit side by side with mobile phones and satellite dishes. As for the Lunch, you’ll enjoy traditional Yangshou food at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Guilin, and you will take flight to Hong Kong.
Day 13 Hong Kong
Today is free on your own to explore Hong Kong, as the crossroads of eastern and western cultures, has developed a blend of eating habits incorporating Chinese, notably Cantonese, and western cuisines.
Day 14 Departure
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
