Day 1 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. After a short break in the hotel, you will take rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals.


Day 2 Beijing

After breakfast, we will visit Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. After a hike along a portion of the Wall, we visit the Ming Tombs, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds.


Day 3 Beijing

Today we will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. The grand palaces and courtyards, the unique design as well as the valuable collections attract millions of people to admire. After having lunch you will visit the Temple of Heaven which is one of the important landmarks of Beijing. In the early evening, you will take overnight train to Xi’an.


Day 4 Xi’an

Upon arrival, you will transfer to the hotel to have your breakfast. After a short rest, we will start our full day tour. Surely Terracotta Warriors is our first destination. It is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. Muslim Street is a wonderful place to walk around; certainly we won’t miss this place.


Day 5 Xi’an - Shanghai

In the morning we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It is a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. And then we will visit Ancient City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. In the late afternoon, we will take overnight train to Shanghai.


Day 6 Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai at noon. Upon arrival, we will visit starts with a tour of the premier attractions of the city where we can immerse ourselves in the culture and sophistication of this cosmopolitan. You can stroll along the lovely paths and pavilions of Yu Garden. After that we will visit the Bund. Once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality; lovely old European-style buildings mix with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do ?and by night it's magic!


Day 7 Shanghai

After breakfast we will visit Shanghai Museum, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. The rest time is at your own leisure. You could wander in Nanjing Road or pack your package for departure.


Day 8 Departure

Your 8 days Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai Golden Triangle Train Tour is near the end. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
